The art of handling people is an incredible job. The one who can do this can actually win million hearts. Every day, we all deal with different situations, and different people. Every person has a different way of speaking and reacting.

Let me give you an example, If you are a shopkeeper and one fine day, you encounter an aggressive customer. That customer talks t you rudely and he is not ready to pay you right. Under this situation, if the shopkeeper replies to the customer in a gentle way, keeping his ego aside, then he will not only be getting a happy customer but many more customers. As the customer will remember the way the shopkeeper handled him and how he made him feel during that situation.
Moreover, dealing with people gently is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s very hard to keep your ego, and self-respect aside. We all are humans, we react to things spontaneously that’s our nature. Since childhood, we have been watching people around us react the same, others talk to them. For example, there are a few friends, of mine who avoid going to get-togethers, offices because they feel afraid to talk to strangers and sometimes with their own people. They simply do not understand, how to talk to people. Perhaps they focus on being themselves then they can out of this fear. Such people usually end up being jobless and they are not able to develop and grow themselves.

In the end, I say that you can run but you cannot really hide. At some point, you will have to learn to handle these circumstances. So why not start now?
You can begin by acknowledging the fact that you are not able to handle people. You should know certain ways through which you can work upon it. Here I present some majestic points which can help you out:
Agree to disagree: We are not always going to meet similar minded people. You can have some difference of opinion, so you should gracefully them about it.
Give up being reactive: It’s not always necessary to react to certain things in life. You should learn to save your energy for better work insists on wasting it.
Be natural- often people have this narrative of imitating people which is simply useless. Try to find your comfort and natural way of speaking to others.
Give respect to get respect - Respect is like a two-way street. If you want to get it then you should give it.
Silence is really golden: It is very important to be a good listener. As it allows you to think and present yourself in an organised manner.
Towards the end, I would like to share a very famous saying which is “The Art of dealing with people is the foremost secret of a successful person. “
